If you purchased from a retailer (Amazon, bookstores, apps)
Your contract of sale is with that retailer/platform. Please follow their standard policy and use their returns centre/support to request:

Refunds for damaged/defective items
Order cancellations or address changes
Each retailer sets time windows, condition requirements, and refund methods. Eligibility and processing times are determined by the retailer’s terms.
If you are a trade account (bookstores, libraries, wholesalers)
Please process returns/refunds through your usual distributor interface (e.g., Ingram) according to your account’s discount/return terms. For escalations, include:
ISBN and title
Quantity and reason code (e.g., damage, misprint, freight issue)
Proof of issue (photos of damage/print fault, packing labels)
Damaged, defective, or misprinted copies
Retailers/distributors typically require photo evidence (cover, interior issue, packaging) and the order/PO number. They will advise whether to return or dispose of the item and will issue the appropriate refund or replacement.
Digital products (eBooks) and audiobooks
Availability and refunds are governed by the platform’s policy (e.g., Kindle, Apple Books, Kobo, Audible). Many platforms limit refunds for downloaded/consumed content except where required by law or for technical defects.
Cancellations & order changes
Most orders are fulfilled automatically (often via print-on-demand), so cancellations or address changes may not be possible once production has started. Contact the retailer immediately with your order number.

Nothing in this page limits your statutory rights under applicable consumer law. Retailer/distributor policies apply in addition to those rights.
